Zaigham Mahmood Khan
Zaigham is a marketing strategist, social worker, adventure enthusiast and an experimental movie maker. He is also the founder of ilmDOST and a believer that the only solution for sustainable development in Pakistan is to educate the masses. Zaigham grew up in the middle-east, received his professional education in Pakistan and has worked in various countries. As a keen observer of cultures and languages his diverse background has helped him grow as a seasoned professional and a marketing consultant. His past clients include many local and international brands as Nestle Pakistan, Metro Group, Lowe Pakistan and Bupa Arabia. He has helped dozens of companies and individuals find their voice and reach out to their customers and grow profits in their respective markets.

Ali Raza Masood
A strategy specialist by profession having managed projects in diversified industries like web development, publication distribution, management consulting, medical insurance and healthcare, Ali has experienced the intricacies of corporate world for well over 17 years.  More than half of his life has been spent in the Middle East, first as a student and then as a professional. He is currently based in Saudi Arabia working for a UK-based healthcare multinational. Even after living all these years abroad, Ali possesses a heart of a true Pakistani. He often gets frustrated with the happenings back home but that do not deter him from thinking and dreaming about a prosperous Pakistan, a Pakistan which is free from current evils and whose people are one nation rather than a group of people. The most exciting part of this dream for Ali is his contribution, no matter how tiny, towards the people of his motherland. He has this anxiety in him to give back something beneficial to his country

GullRukh Usman Khan
GullRukh Usman Khan is an accomplished Human Resource professional who has served in prestigious organizations both locally and internationally. With a Major in Human Resources, Gull’s passion with humans and their development started as a junior school teacher and progressed to an expert HR consultant. She has lived the full spectrum of human development right through the schools to the corporate board rooms. She is well acquainted with the challenges of Pakistan’s educational system as well as the challenges of children and their families in continuing their education. As a professional who advises organizations in the matter of HR, she has still not lost touch with Pakistan basic schooling system. Though a full time mother, she brings a vast knowledge of basic education and the human development in Pakistan. A believer that all children of Pakistan should equal opportunities of education she wants to see all Pakistani children develop into responsible citizens, just like her own children.

Ali R. Mehboob
Ali R. Mehboob is a well-known marketer and business manager. With a humble start in 1998 as a graphic designer, Ali’s high potential helped grow an advertising agency before he moved to the business side and lead the marketing functions of various large financial organization as Al Rajhi Bank and Zurich, in the Middle East. He learnt quickly how significant marketing can be to generate a large foot print and to create something memorable. He started working for the Pakistani community and helped launch initiatives as “Made in Pakistan” with the sole objective to promote Pakistani products in the Middle East and introduce Pakistani business men. Ali is an active voice with various social and political initiatives. For Ali Pakistan is not only a personal passion but a family resolve that he has taken from his father. For this he recently became a part of ilmDost and brings with him a wealth of experience to make this project a success. Ali’s personal motto is to “keep working hard with your head down and you can beat anyone and any team”.

Mahwish Shaukat
Mahwish is an active educator and researcher with expertise in Health & Illness Sociology. Setting off with a basic degree in diagnostic medicine she diversified and earned an M Phil Degree in Sociology from University of the Punjab. She has worked with various universities and  NGOs supporting public health development research projects with W.H.O., Global Fund, King Saud University and King Faisal Cancer Research Center. Also a part of the Zaynab Acedamy community, learning and spreading the teachings of Classical Islamic Texts.

Waqar Khan
Waqar Khan is an accomplished professional. A multi-skilled professional with a superb track record of managing complex functional projects in various environments. Waqar’s career span from multinational startups to large national organizations in increasing their profitability, redesigning their sales approach and creating their sales channel strategy. He is also a frequents universities for teaching assignments and participates in panels at many forums. As an accomplished Sales professional his trade requires him to stay connected to the people and their behaviors throughout Pakistan. His keen observation of the Pakistani talent and the it’s wastage at the basic educational levels, inspired him to become a part of ilmdost.
